JAMMU: Alert Army troops detained a 26-year-old man from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in a forward area near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Tuesday.
The suspect was identified as Waqas, a resident of Tarkhal, Poonch, in PoK. He was apprehended by vigilant troops of Army’s SIKH LI regiment deployed in the forward area along LoC, near Chakan Da Bagh of Poonch’s Haveli tehsil, said an official, adding that the detainee was being questioned.
