Conservative firebrand Laura Loomer has launched a furious tirade following the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk , accusing “the Left” of carrying out a political assassination . Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA and a close ally of President Donald Trump, was shot dead during an appearance at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
Within minutes of news breaking, Loomer took to X to rage against what she called a campaign of terror against conservatives. “They sent a trained sniper to assassinate Charlie Kirk while he was sitting next to a table of hats that said 47. You could be next,” she wrote. In another post she declared: “I hate to say it, but I have a sick feeling we will be seeing more targeted assassination. The Left are terrorists.”
Loomer’s commentary, which spread quickly among Trump supporters online, painted Kirk’s killing as part of a broader pattern of violent intimidation. “If you are a conservative activist or journalist, you need to be very careful,” she warned. “The media demonizes us every day, and they encourage people to incite violence against those who support President Trump and expose the Radical left.”

I don’t think Charlie Kirk survived.” Soon after, she announced what she said she had been told by his own organisation: “I have just been told that TPUSA just told their staff that @charliekirk11 has sadly passed away after being shot. He was 31 years old.” Moments later she confirmed: “Today is a terrible day for our country. I am heartbroken.”
While political leaders across the spectrum condemned the violence, with Joe Biden insisting “there is no place in our country for this kind of violence” and Trump calling Kirk “The Great, and even Legendary” — Loomer’s response stood out for its incendiary framing. By directly accusing “the Left” of being terrorists, she turned Kirk’s death into a rallying cry against political opponents.
