The Kamala Harris campaign alleged that Donald Trump was lost, confused and frozen for 30 minutes at the Pennsylvania townhall as the audience started leaving and Trump swayed from side to side in the tune of the background music. The claim was in line with Kamala Harris' insistence the Donald Trump should release his heath report like she did in which her doctors certified the vice president as fit.
As the video of Donald Trump standing on the stage doing nothing went viral, Trump supporters claimed that the Kamala Harris campaign doctored the video as desperate measures while Trump actually decided to play music for the town hall after there were two medical emergencies.
The medical emergencies that took place to some audience members came as lengthy interruptions to Donald Trump's townhall and so the former president opted to play several of his favorite songs to the crowd.
“Would anybody else like to faint? Please raise your hand,” Trump quipped after the second individual was helped to their feet. Then his staff played “Time to Say Goodbye” by Andrea Bocelli and “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown.
“We could do another question or two if you’d like,” Trump said to the cheers of the crowd, before changing his mind. “How about this? We’ll play ‘YMCA,’ and we’ll go home.”
“Let me just give you the bottom line, though,” Trump said. “We win Pennsylvania, we win this great commonwealth, we are going to win the whole ballgame. It’s such an important place.”
"Hope he's okay," Kamala Harris posted sharing a video of Donald Trump swaying and nodding.
MAGA supporters noted that even ABC News, which is known as a Dem-friendly network, did not misreport and, in fact, debunked the Kamala campaign as the ABC News said the mood at the townhall was intimate and at the end Trump did something he rarely does. "He came down off the stage and mingled with his supporters. He was signing autographs and shaking hands," the ABC News correspondent said.
