"Kamala should take down and disavow all of her Statements that she worked for McDonald’s. These Statements go back a long way, and were also used openly throughout the Campaign — UNTIL SHE GOT CAUGHT. She must apologize to the American people for lying!" Donald Trump posted on Truth Social.
At the rally, Trump said, "Remember this, for a long time, she's [Kamala Harris] been talking about her experience of working at McDonald's. 'I worked at McDonald's over the French fries it's so hot.' I think I am going to go to a McDonald's next week. I'm going to go to a McDonald's and I'm going to work the French fry job for about a half an hour. I want to see how it is."
"But she said she [Kamala Harris] worked and she grew up in terrible conditions. She worked at McDonald's it was said. She never worked there. And these fake news reporters will never report it because they are fake. They don't wanna report it. She never worked at McDonald's. But it was a big part of her resume," Trump said adding that people searched which McDonald's she worked at and found nothing.
As the video went viral, social media users wondered how it's a strange thing for Donald Trump to accept that people do have regular, working class jobs. "It is strange how much it bothers Trump that other candidates might have had regular, working-class jobs at some point in their lives instead of being handed millions from their parents at a very young age," one wrote.
"He's obsessed with McDonalds. From Kamala in the 80's to the Big Mac orders daily, today," another wrote.
"He is really triggered by the MacDonalds thing," a post said.
Many people wondered whether he would survive at a McDonald's even for half an hour.
