While the exact number of victims is unknown, the two deceased individuals were identified as Daniel Williams, the former drummer of the metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada, and music agent Dave Shapiro.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Shapiro, who had a pilot license, was listed as the owner of the ill-fated private jet.
In one of the videos, a massive fireball is seen after the flight crash.

Meanwhile, in a statement, the FAA announced a joint investigation with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
"A Cessna 550 crashed near Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in California, around 3:45 a.m. local time on Thursday, May 22. The number of people on board is unknown at this time. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NSTB will lead the investigation and provide any updates," the statement read.
